Anchorage weather is infamous for taking some by suprise. With summertime highs in the mid-60's and winters jokingly called the big freeze, th weather here in Anchorage is not to be taken lightly.
If you are packing for a trip there are a couple of things that you must bring.
Weather-proof shoes are not a bad idea either if you plan to spend some time outside. Dress warm (layered), some clean fleece and good socks & gloves will get you through the harshest of weather that Anchorage can throw at you. |
